ABOUT MONIQUE

Hi! I’m Monique. I’m an artist, graphic designer, and unicorn. 🦄 Those who best know me would say I have a meticulous eye for detail, am insightful, and am still the only person using emojis for texts and emails. 🎉 💌 ✨

I married my best friend many years after meeting him in our Freshman Earth Science class. With two of our very own Padawans, life is always an adventure. With God leading our family, the future will always be bright.

Though my skills are mostly self-taught, I earned a Bachelor in Fine Art (Concentration in Drawing), an Art History Minor, and a Certificate in Film from Florida International University (FIU). Since then I’ve continued to level up and dive deeper into design and business through several workshops, online courses, and summits. Experience has been my most influential teacher.

OUR ORIGIN STORY

While planning for our wedding in 2011, Gus and I searched for invitations that would be perfect for our big day. However, we came to find that no matter where we went, not one invitation had the exact design elements we were looking for. Fonts, colors, and graphic details could not be changed and our search for our perfect wedding invitation looked bleak. Finally, Gus said, "Well, why don't you create them?" Having a Bachelors in Fine Art and extensive graphic design knowledge, I went to work.

After creating our invitations as well as the rest of the paper goods for our wedding day, we received multiple inquiries from guests. From there a business was born. Since then, we have been working with clients all over the world to bring their custom paper dreams to life.
